2008: A Flashback

My Gregorian year of 2008 was a tremendous success. The following will be written in point form, since writing in prose form could cost me a spinning head. You can read most of them by browsing through the blog.

January

• New Year's eve at Brisdale Hotel, KL and a happening yet spinning ride around the city.

February

• Memory lapse. Can someone help me finding my February memories?

March

• The general election has no effect on me.

April

• Bandung-mania month. Our company trip to Bandung, Indonesia has many great memories and adventures.
• Jiwa kacau.
• My blog is launched for the very first time.

May

• MeMo's 4th anniversary! We celebrate at Avillion Resort, PD for two days and enjoy every moment of it.

June

• Securing a permanent post as an executive copywriter at NSTP after a one-year contract. At last!
• UEFA Euro 2008 fever. Italia bows out at quarter-final.
• Our sequel trip to Kuching, Sarawak. Having fun while exploring new cultures and feel.
• Fuad's wedding at Kuala Lipis and that crazy adventure to Genting Highlands.
• My wife's birthday and UiTM workshop at Seri Malaysia, PD.
• Moving out from Damansara Damai to Shah Alam... lega!

July

• The year of new machines in black. My mom gets her new Toyota Vios, my dad's new Honda City and mine's Modenas Elegan a.k.a "R-Machine: Super-1".
• Get involved in the launching of Berita Harian's new compact size. Lebih kecil, lebih terampil.
• Ultraman showcase at Sungei Wang Plaza. Shuwatch!
  

August

• Orientation for new staff. Get to visit the printing plant and all departments. And gets a Singaporean contact (hehehe).
• Jiwa kacau lagi.
• Starts collecting scale-model aircraft, constructing Rizal Iskandar International Airport (RIS/WMRK).

September

• The holy month of Ramadhan and endless iftar invitations.
• My birthday at home with my wife and brothers-in-law.

October

• The crazy Hari Raya Aidilfitri, first time without my family. Quite sad. Anyway, a great trip to interior Pahang.
• Crisis of Definite-Earth, my office style. Hari Raya party for all staff. Gotta love it.
• Our Kuala Terengganu trip. First time with Firefly (FY). Jolly good trip!

November

• Outgoing and incoming CEOs of NSTP.

December

• NSTP AdNite party. Craziest, wackiest and wettest party. Gila ah ding dong aihh!
• Boabarb's and Azhang's weddings. It's reunion time.
• Me and wife become uncle and aunt to Ahmad Nuqman Ismail on Dec 30.

What a great year it was! See you in 2009.
